​   BASIC OVERVIEW OF WOOLSHED HIRE COSTS



















































INFORMATION ABOUT OUR HIRING PROCESS:

Both the Camel Lane Theatre and The Woolshed function room are available for hire.  
A bond will be required in advance before your booking can be confirmed.  
All other hire costs will be invoiced to you at the completion of your hire.

Hire costs will vary depending on the period of time required for your event, and the amount of equipment and services provided.

You hire the empty space: the stage and the tables and chairs.  Any other equipment or services you opt to use are charged accordingly.

You can hire by the hour or for the whole day.  Up to 4 hours/ between 4 and 8 hours/ the whole day up to midnight.  The longer you hire, the cheaper the hourly rate.

Fees may be charged if you require staff to set up, operate, or return equipment and the facility back to its original state.

A bond is required, and $100 will be charged for cleaning. Additional cleaning costs will be deducted from the bond if deemed necessary.

If your event is licensed, adequate security will have to be provided at your expense, and the police will have to be notified.  WA Police Party Registration Forms can be found in the download section.  
We have no storage space, so agreed time-lines will have to be kept for the removal of any equipment or furnishings you might have brought, or they will be removed at your expense.

Check out the facility resources and equipment available by downloading the Tech Specs of  your preferred venue.  If you already know what you want, fill in a hire form and send it to our manager.  A contract, based on your requirements, will be returned to you.  Once that has been signed, and a bond received, the booking will be confirmed.

If you need any guidance or assistance, arrange a time to meet with our manager well in advance to fully discuss the preparations needed for your event or function.  Our management and staff assist in the pre-planning and implementing of a wide variety of events and functions on a daily basis.  Utilise this invaluable experience to help you achieve realistic outcomes within your budget and time frame.

INFORMATION ABOUT OUR BOND PROCESS:

Bonds are a mandatory requirement for the hiring of any Shire facility.
Bonds need to be deposited with us before your hire can be confirmed.

If your event is NOT licensed to provide alcohol the bond is $550.
If your event IS licensed to provide alcohol the bond is $1,100.

The Shire creates a temporary trust fund to hold your bond.  You will be provided with a reference number that identifies your deposit.  You must refer to this number when making your deposit.

Bonds can be paid electronically by direct deposit into our account, or by cheque:

The bond deposit should be separate from any hire costs​. (You will be invoiced for all hire costs following the completion of your event).

If all is good at the end of your hire, your bond will be returned in full by posted cheque.
